Hello. I have a 2013 Sonic 1.4 Turbo. For the past couple weeks I noticed a horrible shake at idle like it’s jumping like a baby. Finally got a CEL when I started it one morning shaking uncontrollably and it was blinking (so Misfire). Turned it off and back on and the damn CEL is gone. That’s the only time it has ever turned on. So I called around and searched all in this forum and found that a possible cause was spark plugs. So I changed those today. Properly gapped and such. The idle is now much better. Still shakes a bit after a minute or two and then goes away. The most noticeable now is upon acceleration. Example: going up hills or hard acceleration. It will jump and if I let off and press again it’s fine. It’s random. Still no codes and no light. Might this be the coil pack? I ask because I have thought maybe the fuel pump or injectors but I get really good gas mileage, so unsure.
Also random question I’ve been using 10% Ethanol 87 but I’ve been reading I should be using 89 Grade Premium in the turbo engine is this correct?
