Adding a 5 Channel Kicker amp and dynamat

Hello everyone, I have plans to upgrade my sound system in my sonic LT. I originally wanted to just add a mono amp for a small 8 " subwoofer but then again factory speakers and radio isn't working out so great for me. I am very picky when it comes to audio since i work in the car audio industry. So finally i purchased a 700 RMS watts kicker amp 5 channels so i can drive each speaker in the car and subs. I will also dynamat the entire car to make the car quieter by keeping the road noises out and get better sound quality inside the car. I will post pictures after its all set and done.

Be careful with your line converters. when I had my kicker amp installed with my sub. The shop had an issue getting the line level proper. Amp kept on overloading. I resolved the issue by getting rid of those cheap line converters and put a LC6i instead. Much better sound, and no overloads with either amp.

How did the Dynamat install go? I just got my four doors done. I'll do the floor and hatch next.

So far, by installing Dynamat on all four doors the stock sound system has gotten significantly better--especially the midrange. I'm going to continue experimenting with the stock system by adding a LOC and amplifier to see how well it goes.
