alternator

anyone know a good oem replacement alternator that doesnt cost a lot of money? the bearings in mine are going and want to order one before it gets any worse. i dont want to spend an astronomical amount for a new one and even re-maned ones from the dealer run about 250. i have a 1.8 auto trans. please let me know.

Online may be your best bet then. I see rockauto has them for your car for $142.99, AC Delco even which is GM's OEM parts line, right?

I would just hit Autozone or Advance Auto. Cheaper, and they usually carry a lifetime free replacement warranty. I try to support local business .
