Annoying Bluetooth Issue

Wondering if anyone else has this issue and if there's a fix...

I have a Pantech P7040P paired with my sonic. Every single time I start the car the phone chimes and asks for confirmation of contact data request from the car. Four times. And I have to press "yes". Four times. Everytime. Even if I turn the car or phone off and right back on again....really annoying!

Any ideas?

I would check into the settings on your phone maybe you can turn it off or to automatic allow contacts.

yeah...tried that. nothing on the phone has any effect. unless, of course, i disable bluetooth.

Can you access your contacts through your car using the Bluetooth button?

well, sorta...the phone does not have voice recognition...but when i spell out a number, the car recognizes the contact by showing the name on the stereo display.

Pantech phones do this for some reason. You aren't the only one it's happening to. And FYI, you only have to answer once and you can ignore the rest of the requests. It won't cause problems with operation.

yup yup...talked to pantech today and they're aware...no solution yet, working on it tho.
