Good find, although I read $50AU
After my going back and forth regarding lowering, the Pedders lowering coils are to be installed tomorrow. After reading this, I am wondering if the need/desire for a brace/anti-sway bar will be reduced.
Of course, pictures when the coils are done, will be posted.

i had my sonic on 3 wheels yesterday at 84 mph. i'm very interested in getting some suspension mods now. lol.

The Laborsmith Sonic has been Pedderized, as Rodgers Chevrolet installed lowering coils at all four corners today.
Tomorrow, hopefully under better conditions, I will add some more.

Are the pedders coils available now through the dealer or are those a test set?

We are told they are on pre order, and we are accepting pre orders for shipment soon. The only way to get them, due to high demand, is to pre order to insure you get a set on the first production run.

I liked that also, but no for $1500. I actually like the one I chose even more, and the fact it cost about a fourth of that does not hurt my liking. It was important to me that there be no doubt by an observer what they were viewing.
These coils may have been intended to be a test set, and I believe they were, but in the end Pete apparently said they could go, and somehow I got them. And I am glad he so decided.
I did know this: if I was to use drop coils to lower the Sonic, Pedders or no lowering using drop coils.
And a shout out to Gerry at Rodgers Chevrolet, after Pete said it was possible Gerry made sure making the possible real went as smooth as possible.
Give me a few days to drive the living daylights out of them, and I will post a more complete report, perhaps in its own thread, unless Sonic wants to start a thread using the last few posts.

The front is about 1.5 inches, the rear about 1 inch.

I believe it will, the handling is noticeably improved. I drove home yesterday in rain/sleet and though it stopped raining when I went out to take the pictures, it started up again before I got back through my front door.
I did drive through a parking lot with speed bumps - no scraping but you notice the bumps more. Someone posted on this site that the Sonic will never be a sports car and as of now I must disagree. I obviously had hopes to make it one and I now feel I have come very close to succeeding.
But let us give the car a few days to settle before rendering a final judgement!
