Just ordered the DDM rear brace. It looks like my install list for spring is piling up

It looks like my stockpile is building up. My rear brace should be here tomorrow. I can't wait until it warms up to install this stuff.

One of the cleanest Sonics on here IMO. The painted fog light vents make an excellent appearance change. I'd want to do the same thing to mine. Have you had any issues with the paint chipping from the plastic though?

I have not had any issues whatsoever. They have stayed quite resilient with no chipping.

My very first car was a white 1992 Honda Accord and it had one of the vinyl all black front bumpers which I really didn't care for. Took it to my local body shop to have it color matched to the rest of the car. Anyway, I ended up taking it back like 3 times because the paint kept chipping right off. Don't want to mess up the Sonic's pretty face ha!

I guess it all depends on the body shop you go to. The people I go to have treated me well. They painted my lower bumper section black for free, they also touched up the chips on my hood from when a dump truck crapped on it going 75mph. Spring is going to be a big step up in my build for sure.

Edit: Also ordered Cobalt MOOG end links.

My Cobalt endlinks came in last night. Moog makes great products so I wouldn't expect anything less. They're nice and sturdy much nicer than the OEM ones.

Springs, rear brace, and endlinks all need to be installed.. I can't wait. Wheels are still on hold. Stupid winter :/

Finally installed my lowering springs and the Moog links.. Very pleased with the improved handling and look of the car. I can't wait to get tires for my wheels.

Very nice looking sonic Austin! Love how it looks with the drop and i agree that with those mint colored wheels and that drop you will have one sharp looking sonic when its all cleaned up and shiny. Look forward to the summer weather to see how this sonic really pops with everything installed on it. My next mod is coming soon. Almost have all the funds setup to get what i want to get. Its going to make my sonic look real good. Keep up the good work man. Coming along real good your sonic is.

Thanks for the kind words guys! It really means a lot. I can't wait either. Its 60 degrees today. Definitely going to try and get a nice hand wash in today.. I might try out my new chemical guys products. Their wheel guard is superb.

I'm probably going to break down and get a tune next. I really just want the transmission tune but the increased drivability I look forward to as well. Also in a few weeks ill try and install my DDM rear brace. Debating on color matching it with the wheels..

Just ordered my tune from BNR. In hindsight I probably should have done that first. I'm most excited for the transmission tune..

I also should be getting tires this week and having them mounted as well.
