Here's a positive review, even with the 1.8/auto like what I drive.

And yeah, comments from people who don't own or haven't driven the car need to be taken with a BIG grain of salt or just ignored.

The only thing I will say to those idiotic comments on there are: Nobody is forcing you to like the car or buy one.

I do love how all those negative comments are getting a lot of negative scores!

I read that review, It was weird, if you look at the photo, the rear Badge says LTZ, but the Turbo badge was not there? is there an LTZ model without the 1.4 engine?

Yes. LTZ can be a 1.8 as well.

As an LTZ owner, i'd have to agreed this this comment that they wrote:

"The automatic transmission in our Sonic shifted rather slowly and wasn't particularly smooth either."

Is there a way around this, or I have to just deal with it?

LTZ automatic owner here, I also agree with this part as well:

"We only saw 29 miles per gallon overall during our week in the Sonic, in which we traveled some 600 miles, the majority on the highway. Yet this wasn't unusually low, as it's right in line with the EPA combined estimate of 28. It's the 1.4-liter Sonic manual that posts the impressive fuel economy numbers, hitting 40 mpg on the highway and still returning 29 in town. Our 1.8-liter Sonic's official numbers are just 25 city and 35 highway, which just doesn't seem good enough when the plain-Jane Ford Fiesta automatic is rated at 29/39 and the three-year-old Honda Fit even gets an EPA combined rating of 31."
