This is promising, My only worry is that the stock injectors on the 1.8 wouldn't be able to handle headers, CAI, removal of the air dams, and a tune. I'm afraid you'd be pushing them a little hard to compensate for the fuel flow the engine would demand at higher RPM's.

Are there bigger injectors for the 1.8 anywhere? I know there are 42lb ones for the 1.4, but that doesn't help us 1.8 plebeians.

I have not had a 1.8 manifold in my hands, but based on what I have been able to find for pictures it does not appear that the 1.8 has these tumblers.

Dave, Can you post some pictures of where you drilled those five holes...in the air damn for those of us that want to maintain a visually stock appearance. I'll take 5 free HP!
