That was the plan, to make it look like stock as much as possible. The TRS kits have amazing quality. I can't wait to show the "cut-off line" this kit will produce! Aligning everything up later this week, sealing them up over the weekend.

There is lots of info about retrofitting projectors on HiDplanet : The Official Automotive Lighting Forum

I'm doing this for Bryan as a service so I'd rather not give away my little tips. Check my other retrofit for a more in depth process of pics. Cutting the lens off is the scariest part as you could easily ruin a perfectly good headlight.

Please tell me how much those projectors are???

I can do you one even better, here's the link; Morimoto Mini H1. They run just under $300 for the set. The quality is outstanding, I won't use a different source ever again!

There are a number of different ways to go about it. Some people use nuts and bolts, others glop on a ton of JBweld and call it a day.

Looking at the headlight I just got, the hardest part is still securing something to a curved surface. I might just cut the smallest hole necessary in the reflector for the back of the projector. Then bolt a plate on the front side to mount the projector on. The trick will be making it 'square' so it isn't sending light to one side and up into the sky or find a way make it individually adjustable.

I see what Beastlick means by cutting the lens off being the scariest part. There's a number of things that need to be cut around and complex curves to deal with.

Both my kit and the TRS kit mount through the stock reflector hole, no cutting and gluing. Its a much cleaner install and allowed me to mount, test the wiring, and aim them on the car without the lens' on. The cut-off is so sharp! Sealing them up this weekend.

Lights are installed! These turned out great! If you're looking to have lights retro'ed, I recommend you speak with Beastlick (Brett)!

Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) - Complete Retrofit Kits from The Retrofit Source Inc

$270+ for the kit depending on shrouds, halos, etc...

+ Cost to install if you don't do it yourself
+ New housings to retro into if you're not using your own set.

Be prepared to spend $450-$700.

The bulb size is H1, which is determined by the type of projectors (Mini H1 in this case). You request whatever size your stock harness is (H11) which hooks up to the new bulb and your stock plug to make everything work together.

Question about Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) kit
After install, does instrument cluster dispays an error (Code 18 or Code 20)? In Europe it means that left or right low beam bulb is not working.
In USA is the same or not, for anyone who installed bi-xenon?
