On my last car I used the Turtle Wax Black Ice and it did a good job. It also stated you could do it in the sun so I liked that since I have limited space to do the car.
However, for the Sonic I bought Mothers California Carnuba wax. Someone somewhere along the line told me that if you're not using a carnuba wax you're wasting your time. I'm not inclined in this area but I thought it couldn't hurt.
It looks even better now with the wax job. I want to wax it again!
Downside? My hand keeps slipping off the handle when I'm getting in the car because it's so slick now from the wax.
Maybe I'll try mothers caranuba wax when it comes time for that. I bought the turtle black box but ended up not using the wax just the detail spray and conditioner cleaner
