Black or Silver?

I'm so torn. Plan to buy: Enkei RSF5's but I can't decide...Black or Silver. I have black tint and accents on my Orange car but the silver stands out so much and just pops...

I know one owner here has these wheels in silver and looks amazing, but on a black car.

Can't go wrong with either. I am usually not a fan of black wheels, but they do look good on Orange or White cars IMO.

Silver would be my go to though.

Black looks great on orange. Silver would not stand out very much. I suppose it depends what you're style you're after.

Everyone I've been asking (friends, coworkers, family) all say go Black...I'm going black most likely. We'll see. The 23rd can't come quick enough, want that payday to order them up.

Us older guys are more traditional and will usually be drawn towards silver wheels.

The most important thing is to trust your gut and go with what you like the most.

Black wheels tend to get lost in the wells....From afar, the cheaper, cushier 15s won't look any different from 17s.

not 50/50 anymore Since it sounds like you are trying to look for the pop feature of standing out of the crowd, i say the black will help that orange out. the silver to me would just fall short of the car as a whole. The few orange sonics i've seen had black and i must say they were eye catchers. IMO of course. I also am in that under 25 age group.

What size are you going for? I think 17s or better yet, 18s in silver would look awesome.

The more openness of the spokes lends well to the silver and getting a darker look.

You could always get the silver and paint the rim black, leaving the spokes silver.. Then it would really stand out.

18's are too much out of budget. I'm getting 17's. I'll pass on two-tone wheels, think it's tacky.

Picture silver wheels. Picture black wheels. Which one makes you feel more jelly?

That's the color you should get.

And again, when I do this mind exercise I come up with silver..... Except I don't get jelly of other Sonics.
