I have a 2018 Sonic Lt. In 2018 I bought my car brand new and I started having issues with my infotainment screen going black and staying black for a few seconds to minutes. I went through a few months of the dealership trying to fix my issue. Finally by my luck one day there was a Gm engineer at the dealership and he suggested that they do a software update on my system. It was all good until this February. It started happening again. Now since my car is out of warranty they don’t want to help me. I have said I would pay for another update on my system. I was told by the manager today that Gm tac department told him to tell me that I couod try resetting my radio but they don’t know if that would fix my issue. Im really disappointed. Im not sure if I’ll ever buy another Chevy again.
