So can someone please explain the differences clearly between the Intune Diablo, with the BNR tune added, vs the 1.8 BNR tune with programmer? Just a little confused, I wanna get some power outta my 1.8 
just an Injen intake and a 2.5 cat back exhaust with a trush glasspack. Zzp headers after the tune??? Thoughts please!

Essentially different tuning methods.
Intune Diablo is a tuner from Diablosport that has canned tunes included with it. The BNR tune is a customized tune to be used for that particular device.
The straight up BNR tune with programmer uses the EFI Live system with a different style handheld device. There are no canned tunes and is more customized for your car to get better power numbers out of it. It also allows multiple tunes to be put on the device or even different cars.
I switched to the EFI live setup since I also have a Regal GS. I use the same tuner for both cars and have all the tunes for them on the single device. Easier than dealing with two separate tuning devices.

On the EFI Live setup, he can tune the transmission also.

Definitely want to buy a tune for my car, wanted the EFI live but I don't want to mess up the warranty. I have just over 40k on the car and I don't want to wait 2 years until the warranty is done. This leads me to my question, how much power difference between the tunes? I have CAI and a turbo back exhaust....was hoping the BNR turbo upgrade and zzp intercooler would complete my build (as far as power adding mods). I also ave TTR mounts and DDM rear bar and complete silicon hose kit.

How long does it typically take for tune to arrive from BNR? I sent the requested Intune files over last Wednesday and got an email about a support ticket opening - does this mean it's in the queue? Just trying to get a realistic expectation because some posts on these threads make it sound like <36 hour turnaround and I'm out putt putting around on the lame Intune canned rub.

Well, tune did come through yesterday AM... and I am VERY, VERY pleased with it.
Had way more nuts than the Diablo stuff but isn't erratic. Actually feels nice and spritely like my old turbo Volvo sedan.
Still waiting on reply to confirm I should use 93 octane fuel, but very happy with the tune. Have decided I need new brakes!

I'm on the edge of pulling the trigger with the EFI live tuning device. However, before I do I'm trying to get a better idea of what is possible with the different kinds of tunes. I was hoping to have something like Stock, 87 Eco, 89 Power and 93 Power. The octanes I've chosen seem to be most common in my area and I do not want to have to be changing tunes constantly. So it's is why I'm curious to see if an 89 tune is even possible or worth it as I use my car for a daily driver and I would prefer to not have to shell out the extra .30 - .40 per gallon for the top tier stuff. I'm also not looking to shred any tires, just want some extra confidence when passing the slow pokes on a two lane road
I emailed Jerry directly last week, but haven't heard anything back. Perhaps I should send a question to the customer support email. If anyone here can shed some light on this for me I would appreciate it.

I can tell you, so far it doesn't look to be a gas hog. I had a very hard time telling the Diablo tunes apart but the BNR one sent by Jerry seems to be balanced (thus far) on mpg. Getting around 25 and that's with me hauling ass everywhere to stimulate my senses. After I settle into it, it may go up. Also will clock it on my next long trip. I can tell you the Intune i2 seems useless if you want to get customized. I bought because it was easy delivery of the BNR tune and I want to get another license for another vehicle.

So I've received a response back from BNR support. They say that an 89 power tune is not worth it. They would be able to do an 87 eco and a 93 power. Decisions, decisions. When I do pull the trigger, I think I would load the 93 power tune and see what kind of mpg I would get, obviously it's not at fault if I have a heavy foot

I purchased a Diablo Intune 2 from a member on the forum, and he said it comes with a few tunes from Diablo. Is it hard to tune over one already? I don't want to use a Diablo one for a just a few weeks before I can afford a BNR if its a giant hassle to switch between tunes. Finally, do I only get one tune per purchase? I do a lot of long trips for work (~400-500 miles in a day) and was wondering if a economy tune would be able to be included or if I would have to purchase separately.
