Brake lamp problems after VHT Nite Shades

Just got done painting my rear tail lights and front turn signals with VHT Nite Shades. They look great but now I have a problem... The center high mounted brake lamp does not work.. I have the LED one that is mounted on the outside of the car in the little fin on the trunk. I have tried everything I could think of. I checked every single fuse, unplugged it and plugged it back in about a thousand times disconnected and reconnected the battery. I used a multimeter to test the connector inside the trunk lid that the light plugs into for power and got nothing. Also checked for continuity and got nothing. Not sure what that would mean so I would appreciate any suggestions.

Nope. Stock. Also I forgot to mention its a sedan

I took the wing off and took the light out of the wing to paint it but i don't think i broke anything doing so. I was careful not to crack anything or tug on any wires

It was stock installed? Maybe an inline fuse somewhere. Led could be blown. Multiple things could have gone wrong.

Yes it was stock installed came with when i bought the car. Any idea where the fuse might be? I thought about blown leds too but then I tested the connector with a multimeter and got no power so I ruled that out

Not sure on this vehicle. Could be hooked to anything. Is there a plug somewhere that may have unhooked when the spoiler was removed?

There is a plug on the inside of the trunk lid that I had to unplug to get the light out. From there it runs into a sleeve? (I guess would be the word for it) with a few other things like the liscense plate lamps and trunk release and then it looks like it runs along the drivers up to the front. I can try to upload pics but I'm new to this so I'll have to figure it out

Also, everything appears to be plugged in I don't see any loose wires or anything like that

I see the problem, it appears your vehicle is missing a rear door, change to body shape and the wrong tail lights.

Nah sedans ftw. You just have to trace the wiring. There has to be something unplugged or a fuse blown somewhere. Whether in the cab or under the hood.

+1 on the sedans I wi do that tomorrow. Anyone have any idea what fuse the third brake light is on in either of the fuse boxes? I couldn't find any with any relation to brake lights so I checked them all but I would like to know just to make sure I didn't miss it.

Traced it all the way back to the fuse box. No inline fuses and nothing unpluged. Ground also looks good. Anyone else have any ideas? I'm really stumped on this...

Not sure if I'm doing this right.. but here are some pics. The exposed red and black wires are coming from the third brake light. From there everything comes together into one sleeve. It then runs behind the liner in the trunk where it looks like it plugs into something (can't really tell what without pulling the liner out of the trunk) and then keeps going up along the drivers side to the fuse box. The ground terminal is located in-between the drivers side rear seat and the door just above the wheel well.

Is it possible you plugged in the 3rd brake light backwards? LED's are diodes, and by their very nature, only let voltage/current flow one way.

It only plugs in one way and cannot be flipped.
