I wonder what sort of numbers, worldwide, that 1.6 engine represents. Here in the US we only get the 1.4T and 1.8, so that's what we think of in terms of aftermarket parts, but what if there are, in the end, twice as many 1.6's as "our" sizes both put together?
Also, I know Brasil has a massive ethanol infrastructure, have you looked into an ethanol conversion? It was a very simple matter on the 1.4T, adds a lot of power but isn't necessarily economically viable because ethanol isn't sufficiently cheaper to make up for how much worse the mpg is using it, but perhaps down there your prices are different.

Interesting it comes set up flex already. I'm surprised to see such a small difference in hp though, in the 1.4T the difference is much bigger.
How about your gas mileage, or miles per liter (on ethanol vs gasoline)? And how does that work out in terms of the real important factor, cost per mile? In my engine I usually get 22mpg on E85 and 33mpg on regular gasoline, but the cost is only slightly cheaper, so it ends up I'm paying much more per mile.

It does more mpg with gasoline than ethanol.
The gasoline consumption is better than in ethanol, and the current price is very similar, so not worth ethanol.
In the city, urban stretch, heavy traffic, makes an average of 8.5 km/l or 5.28 mi/l or 20 mpg. But the car has only 1000 km on it, or 621 mi.
Gasoline here is not pure, contains a percentage of ethanol, and of lower quality than in the USA.
Not measure consumption in ethanol, currently the price is not as low as gasoline, does not pay.

Keep in mind his is an N/A motor on the stock tune. The biggest reason ethanol allows so much more power on the 1.4Turbo is because of its huge anti-knock qualities (high oct), which allows the boost and timing to be upped well past the detonation limits of pump gas.
On an NA engine there's only so much spark timing that can be added before you've added too much timing and start losing power. So much smaller gains are seen with E-85.
