Interesting it comes set up flex already. I'm surprised to see such a small difference in hp though, in the 1.4T the difference is much bigger.
How about your gas mileage, or miles per liter (on ethanol vs gasoline)? And how does that work out in terms of the real important factor, cost per mile? In my engine I usually get 22mpg on E85 and 33mpg on regular gasoline, but the cost is only slightly cheaper, so it ends up I'm paying much more per mile.
Keep in mind his is an N/A motor on the stock tune. The biggest reason ethanol allows so much more power on the 1.4Turbo is because of its huge anti-knock qualities (high oct), which allows the boost and timing to be upped well past the detonation limits of pump gas.
On an NA engine there's only so much spark timing that can be added before you've added too much timing and start losing power. So much smaller gains are seen with E-85.
