Busy weekend at the races

Friday night I took the Sonic to the Heartland Park drag strip to see how it did under "normal" conditions. So I was running normal pressure in the stock tires, stock intake, spare tire in the trunk, quarter tank of fuel, and my 45lb laptop bag in the trunk.
I also took the ABS fuse out.



Maybe next time I will be able to get it a little more "race ready"


Yesterday I took the sonic down to Wichita to see how it did at the AutoX.
This time I was running with the spare removed, floor mats out, 1/8th of a tank, and ABS fuse pulled. The car handles extremely well but the stock tires gave up the fight way too easy. I did a pretty good job of shredding those.

Awesome man. Get that 60ft down to a 2.0 or quicker and with some good tires it would probably hit low 15s maybe even a high 14 sec time

Wow, those tires really didnt like that lol. Is the car bone stock>? im thinking yes.

Yeah other than the intake and tune, the car is stock. I just hope these tires will last me until the rims I want are available. haha a lot of people there were surprised the little car ran a 15.8. imagine if you could get it down to a mid or high 14??
