What Causes Error PS032?
- Your QuickBooks is not registered properly.

How to Fix QuickBooks Error PS032
Step 1: Verify Your QuickBooks Is Registered
- Press F2 in QuickBooks to open the Product Information window.
- Look for “Registered” next to the license number.
- If it’s not registered, go to Help > Register QuickBooks.
Step 2: Update QuickBooks to the Latest Release
- Go to Help > Update QuickBooks Desktop.
- Select Update Now, then click Get Updates.
- Restart QuickBooks and install the updates.
Step 3: Run QuickBooks Repair Tool
- Close QuickBooks.
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
- Select QuickBooks, then click Uninstall/Change > Repair.

Step 5: Rename the CPS Folder (Where Tax Files Are Stored)
- Navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Intuit\QuickBooks XX\Components\Payroll\CPS - Rename the CPS folder to CPSOLD.
- Reopen QuickBooks and try updating payroll again.
