Canister Purge Valve

My check engine light was on in my 2017 Sonic LT. It was stalling every time I filled it with gas and my scanner is scanner spit a code saying it was canister purge valve. I replaced it But the check engine late came back and I'm still having the same symptoms. Could it be the solenoid for the purge valve or does anyone have any idea what my problem might be?

What part did you change? The purge solenoid under the hood. . passenger side near the fire wall.

Or the canister valve on or near the fuel tank?

Over filling or " topping off " when filling the gas tank can damage those components over a period of time.
