Carbon Fiber Interior parts

So kind of playing with the idea of making some carbon fiber interior pieces. Real carbon, not the vinyl wrap or faux carbon. Got some carbon fiber cloth leftover from another project.

So I was thinking about doing the speedo cluster. Maybe even the center tray on the dash. Going to mold and create new pieces, so I can replace the stock part if I was to sell the car.

Center tray possibly thinking of custom molding to hold some gauges.

Any input or suggestions?

I second this motion! do two round 2 1/4ish holes for boost and wide band gauge and then on the bottom a square piece to house an ultra gauge. That would be sweet!

Also like the idea of the center stack gauge pod..two round gauges or a square fit for the UG would be cool.

Pillar gauge pod as in A-pillar? Not sure if it is do able, since there is an airbag there. Don't want gauges flying into your face in a crash.

Thinking something similar to below. Maybe someone can do a photo chop of your idea, can't picture it in my head.

It is do-able as the cruze has a-pillar air bags and zzp has a pillar pod out already so it is a matter of time before they do one for the sonic I just like the idea of incorporating the ultra gauge as many of us already have that and really isnt a need for single other than aesthetics (i like the round triple gauge setups myself) ...I agree a gauge to the face would suck but if I am involved in an accident where my air bags deploy I have worse problems to worry about.
