Cel 0299

Light came back on last night and was still on at my apointment today.
So after waiting for 2hrs they came back and said they ordered a new turbo assembly and will replace it when they get it in

My CEL came on the other day, just hooked up my OBD2 and got the 0299 code, I cleared it, but I have it again, and it says "permanent". Not sure what that means. I'm gonna let it rest for the weekend and call a Chevy dealer on Monday to see what they say.

Anyone know what permanent means on an OBD2?

Bringing mine in monday for this. Cel for p0299 had come on 4 times total and 3 previous times would go away when i shut the car off. 4th time it left a permanent code, so it will get fixed this time around i hope.. hopelso, hope they have a turbo in stock so i done lose my car for my entirevaca week.
