Celsius / Fahrenheit

I did a search and didn't find any posts on this topic. Forgive me if its already been discussed, could you point me in the right direction? Thank you
My question is how to change the temperature reading on the radio display from Celsius to Fahrenheit? I looked all through the owners manual and searched through all the config menus on the radio and couldn't find anything.

okay.

on the turn signal stalk; hit menu until you see the oil life. twist that twisty thing until you see unit set. push the button on the end. set it to unit 2.

You do it through the turn signal control:

Press: Menu - Until the bottom displays "Set"
turn the Up/Down control - Until Top displays "Unit"
Press and hold "Set/CLR"
turn the Up/Down control - Until Top displays "F" or "C"
Press and hold "Set/CLR" (To set)

To do this however your car must be at a stop. I found this out when I went to Canada for a weekend. I crossed the boarder and tried to change to KPH while driving and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.

The engine does not need to be off, you do not need to be in neutral. You need to be at a Complete and full STOP.

Really? It never worked for me unless my engine was off. Or maybe I didn't try with it on... I don't remember now.

Sometimes its much easier to dumb it and expect that the user knows nothing about cars, plus it helps keep us all lazy like we like.
