Sonic owner since 2014, just joining form
Greetings Sonic Forum,
We have a 2014 LT 5dr Hatchback Crystal Red Metallic 1.4 turbo manual trans. The car is fun to drive, we wanted a manual tranny (scarce these days), and it gets around 37 mpg in semi-rural driving. So that's the good stuff. But it just went to the Chevy dealer for a water pump & oil pan gasket, so I thought it was time to join the forum, this car may require a community of owners to consult with, it seems. The Chevy dealer was cool about the warranty work, but that's a lot of failure for a two year old vehicle. Our other vehicle is a Jeep Patriot. I thought the Jeep would be the problem child, but no non-scheduled maintenance needed for 5 years.
