But I don't want to not have an x brace lol. If it didn't clear would there be any way to have one made that would? I know several guys that would be interested if it clears. Me and subsonic have discussed this as he has your x brace but he's a 1.8 lol.

They are cast mono block wheels designed for the rigors of rally competition. They are made of light weight aluminum alloy than heat treated for maximum strength. They weigh about 19.75 lbs each

They seem heavy, I guess the extra material to make them strong... Have u considered the factory steel wheels? They come in at around 15 pounds and if they bend you can hammer them out.

I'm going to assume the skid plate will work with the x brace?

People try and use factory wheels sometimes.... You can probably get away with that at a local rally cross,but the speeds and roughness of stage rally they wouldn't work. They would break,taco or be so bent up after one stage the high speed wobble alone would cost you precious time. The tire and wheel are your first line of defense against pot wholes,water bars,jumps,rocks etc. they have to be tough as nails just to finish a rally. By the way I've finished the remaining 4 miles of a gravel stage on just the rim! I didn't slow down much either,lol.And the rim was still usable!(with 5 min of grinding).

Sorry it's been a while since my last update!! Unfortunately the car was not ready in time for Sno-Drift Rally... But we have been making lots of progress. Here's some pics of the cage.

Thanks,a lot. I'm getting it painted in a couple weeks.than its performance tuning! Going to run 100 octane. Does anyone know the kinds of HP and torque people have gotten with 100?....I can't find any info on that...
