Convince me to buy the Sonic RS instead of Dart Limited

Tough choice. Love my Sonic, but the thought of a new srt4 makes it that much more difficult. The neon srt4 is badass, caliber srt4 was hideous and overweight. The dart although I dont completely love the look, is a step back in the right direction IMO.

now...SRT4 and sonic are definitely comparing apples and oranges...

darts uses premium fuel in the turbo model (possibly others) from the motorweek review I watched.

I hear all Darts have been put on hold for some problem.
Yeah, I know, Sonics arn't perfect but niether are Darts.

As metioned in the article, inspect your new Dart very carefully.
Maybe Sonic production problems have not been as severe but I am sure that, to some extent, the same situation applies to Sonic, and probably any other car's production so inspect any car carefully.

I was excited about the focus st till I found out it's going to be 25k. That's like frs , genesis coupe money although 252 hp in a focus might be "faster".

maybe it's because i'm getting old, or from doing track days on the motorcycle...but 252 hp in a giant 4 door isn't all that interesting to me anymore.

Because the RS is the top of the line for Sonic, and roughly 21k. The Dart Limited is roughly 22k, and middle of the line.

theres a red and black dart in the lot here, it looks good with that combination. However if your in that territory the Focus hatch is a nice looking car and the fuel mileage is window stickered 40mpg with the 2.0L. was crusing through the ford dealership and they did catch my eye. the front ends are pretty "race" looking. if only the offered AWD versions of these cars...
None of the dealers had sonics, focus, or darts with stick however.

I stoped by the Dodge dealer today and sat in the only kind of Dart available so far, 1.4L turbo manual. VERY nice looking inside and out.
I did the same with a Sonic 2LS a week or so ago, my only Sonic encounter so far.
At 6 foot one and 235 pounds I was quite comfy in the Sonic but not so much in the Dart.
The Dodge dealership says it will be another week before any 2.0L autos, SXTs, will show up.
