Coolant leak

hello,
new to the forum and doing alot of reading.
process of looking to buy a 2016 sonic LTZ.
question is DEXCOOL a GM brand sold only in dealers or
does other aftermarket brand would be compatible to DEXCOOL.

Dexcool is less of a brand and more of a specification. I know for sure that Prestone makes dexcool coolant and can usually be found in a lot of stores with an automotive department like Walmart. Make sure you buy pre-mixed if you just want to dump it straight into the resevoir.
