Will a Cruze intake fit on a Sonic ? I want to get the K&N typhoon for my sonic

It sure will. I had to do some minor modification to the mounting bracket and I already had the Spectre parts. I even retained the heat shield. I only went this route because I got the barely used intake CHEAP on eBay. I have just over $100 into the entire setup. So to answer your question, yes, it can be done with little effort. At this point, if you are dead set on a K&N, I would just wait a bit. I know a couple members here have their cars going into K&N in the near future for testing. I haven't driven it much since installing it but I think my IAT's are actually lower than my modified SAB. I think with the SAB open on the bottom, hot air would rise and actually be trapped by the intake.
