I had already done some custom exhaust work on my car but decided using part of the slp cat back system could save me a lot of headaches.
FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW IT WILL BOLT DIRECTLY TO OEM 1.4 EXHAUST SYSTEM. The only issue being there is two bottle necks in the system. The stock secondary cat has a reduction to 1.75 inches just before the flange. The other actually and sadly being the SLP system. The inside of the resonator is only 2 inch not 2.5. therefore the system is not a true 2.5 cat back.
Here are some pics of the custom stuff and you can see where the slp system starts.
My custom stuff is remove secondary converter install 2.5 flange and run 2.5 inch piping up to the next exhaust hanger. I am actually waiting for the offroad test pipe from ddm works and plan to use that in place of my custom stuff and making it a true bolt in and go system for the turbo car. I probably wont be using the resonator from SLP. Probably subbing it out with just bolting in a 2.5 inch replacement pipe.
