I found this video of a Sonic 1.4 with DDM exhaust w/ resonator only.

If anybody out there has a 1.8 I'd love to hear what it sounds like.
I cant decide if i want to go with muffler only or resonator only for my 1.8.
I want it to sound like the video.

I think that most people that run just straight pipe end up with at least a resonator on it in the end. Ask Stratton_Chevrolet_Sonic, he ran 2 1/2" straight pipe and it was to much so he put a Magnaflow resonator in at the front of the cat back.

The Sedan is going in on Wednesday to get fitted up with our system, we will have some pics available after install and order information will be available next week, FYI.

Can you give us a hint on tailpipe exit location? I would prefer something that stays in the factory location, I love the hidden look. Also, I was wondering if in a future update (version 2.0) y'all could clamp fit the muffler and resonators so that they can be swapped out with straight pipe to tune the exhaust.

The test car goes in tomorrow. Right now we have a couple ideas, but until we get it on the car and see and hear it we will not know. We also want it to be kinda hidden since there is not a cut out in the rear bumper like the hatchback has. Should have some more information late tomorrow or Thursday.

Oh please! I don't have the sedan but they wouldn't be revealing any top secret info by posting a pic or two of some metal pipes under a car! lol

Oh please, it's their choice and if they want to wait until they have a finalized product that is understandable. I'm sure they will show us what they have when they have it but I understand if they wait until they are happy with the system.

I heard back from the customer after the fitment, and he is extremely pleased with the sound of the exhaust on the car. He didn't get any pics, but when the system was getting fitted the guys took some pictures and a sound clip. As soon as they get emailed over I will post them up for everyone.

The first install was on a 1.8L and had the muffler without a resonator.

I cant wait to hear what this thing sounds like. IDK, maybe if you guys have this new setup available by next spring (may) i will buy your system instead of building my own for my 1.8 Sedan. I LOVE the way the 1.4 Hatch sounds. Havent heard this system on a 1.8 yet? But i bet it will sound just as good. Thanks for all the updates Dave! the suspense is killing me man! i hope this gentleman that has the sound clip and such gets in touch with dave soon. i really want to hear what this new setup sounds like on the sedan sonics lol... Oh the Torture of waiting ha ha ha
