As I slowly make changes around the house I have had this plan for quite some time. I want to have all my exterior lights controlled from one location. Its a simple enough concept and with the correct parts it should be fairly easy. Quite some time ago my brother in-law gave me a contactor that he had no use for and I recently acquired an old Von Duprin power supply box. I still need a few more pieces but this should be the setup down by my panel soon.

An automatic timer will control the coil and I will have 3 sets of 2 pole NO or NC contacts to use. Easy enough to wire up and shouldnt be too bad to install.

A friend of mine has some kind of light switches that allow him to control all of his lights from every light switch. He said some communicate via wifi and others through the ac line it self.

Can't remember what they were called but it seemed interesting to hit 1 button and it shuts all of them out except 1 before bed etc.

Im getting a lean code and I know why and its because the tune update wasnt tuned for a ported intake and that was my own idiotic fault for not telling them that i was ported. should i be to worried about it until they can submit a new ticket? The car seems to be running fine except for my ultraguage and the engine light comming on.

Its a decent system but I have yet to come across one that was not too expensive for my taste. Most of the wireless or low volt switching systems available today also require programming that is usually proprietary to the system manufacture.

Sending out a signal on the AC lines can wreak havoc on some of the newer ballasts used in modern LED and florescent fixtures.

I don't like that at all.
I've never seen where I can run lights, indoor or outdoor via a timer other than christmas lights (Big fan of C7s and C9s).

Thing is, photosensors at least go by what brightness it is out. A timer will need to be constantly adjusted throughout the year.

Besides like I said, I control my lights. I usually have no outside lights on.

It already has programming in the timer to adjust for DST and the change in the sunset/sunrise. The current lights are on photo eyes and they do not turn off during the day. Its just wire and switches. If I wanted to I could put in a "master" override somewhere in the house so that I wouldnt have to go into the basement to override the timer.

I don't believe porting the intake requires a wild tune adjustment. The tune still operates on stoich AFR. I think a lot of people have successfully ported the IM without needing a retune.

You can still ask for a "ported intake" update, but I would look around for an intake leak, either at the turbo inlet, or at the intake manifold itself.

Finally got around to fixing my laptop. I bought it new a year ago, but I never really use it. I think the last time I used it was about 3 months ago. As new as it is, it's been having issues with slowing down, which I attributed to constant 100% HD usage. Turned off the superfetch service and ran chkdsk and it seems fine now. Idling within 5-15% usage vs. 100% as it was before.

Hopefully feeling better tomorrow and Sunday. I got plans to head over to another bike dealer and check out a few bikes I saw online, namely the Shadow 750.

A BOV is the only mod I am aware of that requires an ECP tune. I don't recall hearing that the ported intake does, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for the link, I guess ECP is worth a shot, but the science of it still has me skeptical. Just grinding out the tumblers doesn't magically allow air in that hasn't passed the MAF. But I should just digress because my tune has always been ECP (there didn't used to be an option to get a Trifecta tune without it) so I can't base my theory on experience.

I'll be very curious to hear that switching to ECP solves your lean issue.
