Aw, I killed the thread.

On the plus side, I got my plates today. No more temp paper plates for me.

Not the best Sunday I have ever had. My first "Hit and run". Based on the information I got and what the police said, I feel really bad for the surprise that the older lady that actually owns the car is in for. The driver took off after I got a picture of the vehicle registration and insurance. Not the wisest choice.

Carbon Fiber Hatch now??

Based on age and miles there is a possibility that the car may be totaled out. I already have one car with a CF hatch and there appears to be fitment issues with the CF hatch.

Headed back across town to look at a couple trucks today.

While the car is in for repair I went to the showroom to browse. Wasnt planning on new, but my truck needs replaced and I kinda found myself in a jamb given that I was going to use my car for camping and I needed a replacement for this weekend. No time to browse for used and check it out to be sure its good to go.

My boss called me just as I was getting home from work. Apparently when I did time for the crew I forgot to put any hours next to my name on the time sheet.

It will be an adjustment/learning curve for the new job responsibilities. Should be for at least 6 months, maybe a lot more. Even if I decide I just want to go back to the tools it was requested that I at least stick it out for the duration of this part of the job.

I was not prepared to be thrown into this role on a job this big. Most foreman start out on a job about 1/4 the size of this one or have someone there to guide them along all the time. Its a lot to learn and deal with.
