After I put my deposit down for the Pedders I received an email from DGR indicating their version is in the final approval stage. Right now there is nothing for the Sonic on their site:

It is good the Sonic is attracting some attention from the aftermarket industry.

Damn, I am REALLY kicking myself in the ass right now. Instead of getting lowering springs, I could have gotten the pedders coilovers financed with my car. Oh well, the way things are going, Im sure someone will come out with an adjustable strut soon enough.

BTW My Sonic scrapes almost every side walk and drive way I enter . If I lower it that little chin piece is toast . I real don't think I'm going to lower it at all . Stiffen for track day but not lower .

Traditionally, lowered cars in New York have it pretty rough. On the west coast, and the smooth highways of the Southwest, you can run a pretty ground scraping car and get away with it.

I just checked and the little chin on my 1LT is slightly less than 6 inches off the ground. I'm used to just over 4 inches so I'm thinking that may allow for a 1&3/4 inch drop. I have not experienced any scraping at speed bumps not on the only driveway I have used that has a big angle.

You know, I've slammed that air dam into the ground a few times, but no worse for wear. I am sure if I lowered the car, I would be a little more careful over dips and such

Hello Everyone,
We are a Authorized DGR Suspension Dealer, we are waiting on the ok to start selling, this could happen any day now. We have installed DGR's on a few customer vehicles with everyone being more than happy with the results. Also, DGR comes with a LIFETIME warranty, which is insane in the Coilover Market. As soon as we here something, it will be posted.
