I notice with some of the engine parts I'm looking at it has the 2012-2016 and 2017-2020 choices. Is there any difference in them? I know the engines are the same but did they change something else?
Difference between gen 1 and 2 sonic?

If the part numbers are different for the 2nd Gen, then best to go with that.
But most part should be interchangeable except for possible wiring harness concerns. and maybe sensors and modules.
