I can't answer your question but if you get one of those Chinese Android head units be sure to post a review. I've read both good and bad about them but had considered one myself.

often times the translated instructions and user guides are very poor...

I learned this the hard way...'YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR'

I'd search Crutchfield and see what they have which would be a direct fit for your car... don't have to buy from them, but it never hurts to look and read the user reviews!

well oddly enough that unit is name brand. "pumpkin" is actually pretty well known in the rest of the world.

really its the "vehicle settings" that concern me. if they will stay how they are then I'm ok getting rid of it.

yeah, there's vehicle settings in Mylink... how long the lights are on, horn beep, auto door lock.. nothing major but they are there.

Mylink is running Windows CE in our cars too... very limited

I believe that once you you have these settings set, and you pull the radio out these setting are now an almost permanent thing until you put the factory radio back in to change them once again.

Don't quote me as I am not positive, but I am pretty sure I have seen it around the forums somewhere sometime ago.

I like that is runs android. Would enable GPS nav via Google Maps, in theory? I think mylink is very limited and would also like to ditch it. I have a few videos and could not get any of them to play, even in park. :(

Exactly. When I get some extra cash I'm going to take the plunge. but for now money is going towards a tune and so on.

I'm hoping thats the case, I set them how I wanted them, and I doubt I will ever change them.

You can run any android app on it, so maps, various music apps, and performance apps like torque can run on it which is a plus. The main downside to it that I can see is it turns fully off every time you turn the car off. So it's about 30 seconds minimum before your radio starts working after cranking the car. Not a big deal, but it is of note.

true, but the mylink takes about 15 seconds anyways. plus the mylink does alot of things that irritate the hell out of me. like taking 3 minutes to connect to my phone.
