Does anyone know this website for long distance driving

Hello, I saw my friend use a website to help him moving from Utah to Wisconsin couple of years ago. Basically, this is a long-distance interstate driving. You will spend several days. The website doesn't only tell him which road should drive, but also tell him when he should stop and have a rest or food. It will show him the available cheap Motel along the road. It is not a cell phone apps. I forgot which website it is. It's not google map. If anyone used this website, can you let me know. Most of traveling website will give you the recommendation of fancy hotel. This website gives you advice on how long you should drive per days and where you stop. If anyone know this, please let me know. I am curious if it is Mapquest. I use Mapquest today. I didn't get the results that I want. I might use the wrong settings.

I use WAZE great app but it doesn't suggest stops.

Oh, it was long time ago. At that time, the cell phone app was not popular. It's a webpage, but they might have an app now.

It just depends on what I'm looking for on my trip. I'm a big foodie so I like the food stops one but they have different websites for gas stops, attractions, etc. I would read through and try a few different ones to see what you like best and what works best for your trip.
