To the techies/geeks out there - am looking for a Dropbox alternative.
Central file storage not an issue, only needs to be able to synchronize files between 3 computers at two physically separated locations that are all behind hardware firewalls.
To date, Dropbox with a compbination of some automated batch files has met my needs 100% but with all this latest SOPA/PIPA stuff going on, I am concerned about Dropbox's future despite the fact that I am using it for entirely legitimate purposes (no copyrighted materials being moved/stored whatsoever) - strictly database/word/excel/powerpoint/etc files.
Have looked at using SFTP type of stuff and would like to move away from any centralized form of control/monitoring (aka Dropbox) - suggestions anyone? Current max amount of files being synchronized right now is well under 1.5 gigs - basically remotely backing up critical files.
