Has to be either a gsr, type r or a ls-vtec build, the stock b18a/b doesn't have vtec.

The 06 Saturn Vue we just traded in had a Honda J series 3.5 in it. Rated 250HP.

When the Vtec switched cam lobes you barely noticed but it allowed it to produce good torque from 2K to 6500 or 6700 whatever the redline was. I do like GMs continuous variable valve timing more though.

Nice numbers though...that's totally stock? See this is what makes me wonder if the car is under rated in power...not so much hp number, but torque number.

My car is stock right now and I think I've seen torque in the 160 range on the torque 1 gauge on my ultragauge using 93 octane. Not sure how accurate that is.

This is only 117max hp.
Obviously it wouldn't be 138 stock but I wouldn't expect a 20hp drop between the engine and the front wheels...

That sounds about right to me. 15 to 20 percent loss with an auto sounds reasonable.

The car has parasites as well; power steering and air conditioning. The alternator and water pump too.

So consistent that I question the ability of any member questioning the consistency to do a search.

And no I will not do the search for you but I will continue to laugh at any who continue to question the power the 1.4T sends to the wheels.

And JusticePete got 124hp to the wheel using 93 octane.

Ah, never realized everything, it seems, is electric. That explains the fluctuations in voltage and sudden large dips. Has anyone checked out the size of the alternator yet? I'm a bit curious as to its size now.

No the waterpump is Mechanical! It has a pulley that turns it.

What gear are u guys doing your dyno pulls in? That can skew numbers from the get go. It looks even though 4th is an overdrive it's the closest to a 1:1 ratio.
