it can be, but you might as well remove the radiator as well cause without the air dam you'll overheat. its there for a reason. learn to take obstacles at an angle and at lower speeds.

That grey flexible thing really helps cool the engine?? hmm I would have never guessed.

Yesterday I pulled into the driveway at work really fast while braking, the back wheel came way up haha

the springs are a great addition to the sonic.


it allows air to be forced into the radiator. its all in the aerodynamics

I grew up driving lifted trucks so having a low car is gonna take some getting used to haha

You can always cut an inch or so off to give a little more clearance. No removal, no over heating. :D

Hey, nobody else wants to post up pics of their Eibach lowered Sonics (preferably hatches) cuz I know there's way more since that list of purchasers was pretty big. I'm curious to see others' results too, can't decide yet which ones to go with.:confused:

Why does the Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs look just as low as the KSpeed Storm Springs even though their specs aren't as aggressive? I just might have to go with these once again since I see no big difference in each drop. The KSpeed ones should've def dropped it much further & tucked it way more since 2"F/R is much more than 1.2F/1.4R right? How about the H&R Sport Springs, anyone get those ones yet & have pics after install? I want the lowest drop possible with lowering coils only, that's why I'm sooo curious as this will probably be my only serious mod (don't feel like messing with my warrenty) since I ****ing hate my factory wheel gaps right now! I really want Eibach to make a Sportline version for the Sonic hatch, now that I'd jump on in a heartbeat!:confused:

My guess: one may have published a less than accurate measurement and can get away with that by stating not every car is the same.

But you could always install theirs hoping against hope that the advertised drop will be accurate for you. If it is you will then be able to replace the rest of your suspension within the next year or so; even quicker if you manage to find a nicely sized pothole.
