Embarassing question, 2013 Sonic

I have a 2013 Sonic LT, 1.8L.

Geez, I really feel stupid asking this but here goes.

When CAA replaced the battery the other day, Since then, I have lost all chimes, radio and clock. I want to check the fuse box which seems to be underneath the light switch to the left of the steering wheel (as noted in the owner's manual) - at least it's a grooved square that doesn't seem to want to open. I'm beginning to wonder if it is the fuse box and, if it is, how to open it. I don't want to yank on it.

It kind of hinges along the top edge so grab via the grip near the bottom of the panel and pull it straight rearwards. Once it swings far enough the panel comes off.

Grab a flashlight cause the fuse panel is further up in the dash than you'd expect.
