what about a tesla motor and drivetrain for a swap ? i hate how fast those things are . i cried a little when i watched a tesla s kill a supercharged ford gt 40 . if u are going to throw that much cash to make a super sonic u might aswell make it silent . it would be the ultimate sleeper. PS stop fighting its stupid, if u know what u are u dont have to prove it to anyone

A Tesla motor and controller and battery pack stiffed in to the Sonic would be SSSSOOOOOO much fun... I test drove the P85D on a closed track and the INSANE mode is just NUTZ!!! For the Sonic, you would only need the 1 motor... and LOTS of reinforcement to keep it inside the car, no gas motor or trans or gas tank, direct drive... oh hell ya! That's very doable and it would eat V8 ' all day long... and the cost would be in the 30k range... (approx)
