Evap Canister Location

I've been getting a consistent P0496 - Evap System High Purge Flow. I know where the purge valve solenoid is and how to replace it... Where is the charcoal canister so I can replace that as well.

No need to replace the charcoal canister in fact i don't think we even have one. It's just recycled back into the engine to be burned off.

I am pretty sure the Sonic does have a canister. It should be near the side of back of the gas tank. . . Take a look under the car. Pretty sure the 1.4L does also, but different tube routing. At least for the 1.8L there is.

If it's just the code P0496, it's the purge valve behind the fuel rail
