Evap Fail?

I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for.

2013 RS 6spd, MPFab intake + Anaconda, RS catback. Full tune

My evap is showing "fail". Not "not ready". Any ideas?

This can occur if the gas cap is not seated properly. Try to take the cap off and put it back on, clear the code and see if it comes back.

No I do not. I did, however, check the gas cap and it wasn't turned all the way to the "one click" position. I'm hoping that this is the culprit. I will be testing it again and report the result here.

A loose gas cap will throw such a code, but it's also important not to "top off" the gas tank on almost any current vehicle. I trust the evaporation canister is not as prone to flooding with topped off gasoline as on 2002-2004 Prizms, Corollas, Matrixes and Vibes, but I am not about to try to find out.
