Chevrolet has just published the online order/reference guide for the 2012 Chevy Sonic sedan and five-door hatch, revealing a few details that were unknown about the Gamma II-based vehicles.
Among the unknown tidbits is the fact that the Sonic will be available equipped with
15, 16, and 17 inch wheels, a remote starter system, and four or six-speaker sound systems (the latter of which carries the “premium” moniker). Furthermore, Chevy’s new sub-compact entrants will be available with body-color door handles or those containing a chrome strip (LTZ only), while a chrome beltline will be standard on 1LT and 2LT trim levels.
The two options that we’ve been able to discover so far include a power sliding sunroof (CF5) and oil pan heater (KPK). The Sonic will have optional heating perforated leatherette seats — an option that was available on the outgoing Aveo, but wasn’t executed as well as we hope to see on the Sonic.
