Finally got sick of going through sway bar links.

Hey everybody,

80000 miles on my car now and I am on my 4th set of sway bar links. The Moog ones on the car started clunking last night. I have had the alignment checked everything 30000 miles and redone after the new suspension was put on at 75000 ( I replaced the strut/shocks, springs with B&G, sway bar links with moog, lower control arms w/new ball joints, sway bar bushings etc.) I'm thinking something in the suspension geometry is off in the design, thus why you here of so many people having similar issues.

So at work today I made a set that should work nicely.
These are fully adjustable for preload and alignment per side. I don't see how I can break these haha. Ends are chrome plated steel with Kevlar inserts.

I must have missed these.. I have this click when I turn the wheel sharply when driving slow say through a parking lot.. I can't tell what it is but perhaps my endlinks are going.
At high speed I don't notice it.

oh.. I dont know...I simply turn the wheel back and forth at low speed and there's this click or clunk from the front.. I will check which direction next time.

I imagine, in my mind, that the steering rack is loose. I've notice it over bumps more now. at speed...don't hear it or feel it. Thought maybe it was my exhaust hitting but but why would it go away at speed then.

Those look fantastic, did you thread the center portion or buy something that was already threaded?
Only thing i'd do differently is use a rod end with a stud already part of the ball.

I put in ZZP end links and have had them for about the last 60000 miles. I just grease them every so often and they still work perfectly.

While trying to do all the small things to tighten up the car, I made a pair of these links as well. Male ends with studs. Rubber boots on the way since this state isn't easy on anything.

All the pieces were purchased at speedwaymotors.com including the jam nuts and aluminum threaded center sections.
