Florida Sonic Spring Meet: April 28th, Orlando, FL

Sometime on the weekend I dont drive my car much anymore due to the fact I have a company vehicle now. So when ever you want I need a jack tho? And you gotta let me know when you have off or get out of work.

This Saturday i work at 1 so We could do it in the morning. Sunday Im off but I have a meeting till 10..Then having a cook out at my parents in PO. We can do a quick job then..

Dipping the rims I used about 1 and a half cans the first time.

The first time how many times have you done it? So 6 cans should do it plus maybe the front and rear bowties

No maybe 3 cans max. 4 if u want alot extra. Ive only done them once since. I put a tire cleaner on it and it ate through the paint.

I'm trying to derp my wheels and bowties before the meet. nothing wrong with bone stock but I want to show SOME progress besides bushings lol. would love to get some advise for a sound system.

you can also put vinyl on them. they sell matte black vinyl at pep boys for $10.

I was originally thinking of that with the 3D carbonfiber vinyl...but the design I wanted would require cutting and fitting. Didn't want the vinyl to peel. So I'll derp them for now until I get them painted, just to see how it turns out.

dip your car suggests 4-5 cans depending on the color and thickness. id say 4 cans, im gonan buy some from them once i get my car back lol.

if its the stuff from pepboys/autozone id stay away from it. I tried to do my interior parts with this and its far from flexible enough to wrap anything thats not flat. bowtie maybe, stripe sure but thats about it

the dip is really easy, ill show anyone how to do it, hell ill probably do my wheels again aswell as they are looking a little dirty and parts have peeled from my bright idea of new layers without cleaning it. You only need 3 things to dip anything maybe 4 if your a perfectionist. 1) dip, 2) tape, 3) goo gone, 4) blade - optional seriously goo gone works wonders

Lol Hey, i'll be showing up with everything stock besides the bowties. As much as i would like to dip my rims before the meet, i literally have no space where i live since its restricted in townhouses. :/ And plus i've never done it before, (besides watching videos and reading about it), so i haven't a clue what to do without any personal experience.
