First off I want to shout out a big ol' fuq-eue you to almost everyone south of Orlando. And I think I'll be generous and give a second fuq-eue you to everyone in Miami-Dade.
I travel all over the country. Other countries on random occasions and I really can't recall being around a larger group of ****ty drivers than I encounter once you get about 50 miles south or Orlando. On many parts of the Turnpike you can see literally for miles. And all you'll see if 50 cars butt-loving each other in the left lane and one car passing all of them on the right... That one car is usually me or some frustrated chap from the UK that also learned what lane you should be in.
Off the turnpike it is equally as frustrating. It is consistent and repeatable that at every stoplight, every intersection and every roadway you take that one or more cars are doing 20mph UNDER the speed limit. When the light goes green you can count out 5-10 seconds before the first car even makes it through. Maybe a few more seconds when the next driver wakes up and decides to go. Literally two or three cars make it through the turn arrow. WTF!!!!
I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen on the news someone over here on vacation from Europe charged with mass homicide. They go from a group that actually read signs, merge early, go when the light is green, move over, etc.. to this jacked up mess here in Miami. But come to think of it, UK drivers are used to passing on the right so the slow drivers hogging the left lane is perfectly normal to them.
So if you are from south Florida and know how to move right. I apologize and appreciate your efforts. For everyone else. **** you.
