From A Jeep to a Sonic

Hey everyone, I have been a long time owner of a Jeep Wrangler. I thought i would never get rid of her in my life time, But with gas prices now days that jeep was killing me. A few months a go i 1st saw the 2012 Sonic Hatchback. That car caught my eye, and i have looked at them several times. I live in the area where Grand Forks has the Largest car dealership in the whole state of North Dakota and Minnesota, South Dakota to i think. Anyway when i went in to see about purchasing one they had NO hatchbacks in stock. The salesman did a vehicle search to see if what i wanted was avalible at another dealership. They found one about 80 miles away. My salesman did a dealership trade and got the car for me here in one day. I got the Sonic LT Hatchback in Inferno Orange with the cruise package, and wheel, foglamp package. I LOVE this car. I have only had it a day and i know my gas bill is going to be way down.

Welcome aboard! I dig Jeeps too, considered one when shopping for vehicles recently......Sonic won out though, due to mpg and practicality relative to majority of my transportation needs...

I would LOVE a Jeep, but the MPG would make it a second car, and at 25k+, there is no way that's happening. I will wait till I am retired I guess

LT with foglamps and 16" wheels means a 1.8.

My first car was a Jeep, an '85 Cherokee with the GM 2.8L V6 and a 5-speed. Miss it.
