No. I've tried and they just don't come out good. I would need the rubber pre-cut from a die.
I'm happy to make you a blank aluminum one at a lower cost and you can figure out how to make the rubber match. PM me.

yeah it was definitely an oversight or a cost cutting measure on GM's part. FWIW, my wife's new focus doesn't have one either (and even the ST doesn't have one :screwy: )

The way I see it is like whaaa, the Sonic has a lot of great features/options but nowhere is a simple foot rest included... even a cheap rubber piece would do. Or if the rubber mats that came with my sonic came with had a piece to go over that area haha.
And woah not even a ST....

I think the weather tech mats would work with it, but the little dead pedal cover built into the mats would probably cover the aluminum cover.
