Fuel filler neck pipe replacement

So sometimes I don't think about what could be behind something and happened to put a few screws through the filler neck pipe, and now I have an evap code and lost a minimum of 100 mpg per tank.


Has anyone replaced theirs and have any tips or anything to know or look out for to share?


I'm hoping to be able to replace it in my apartment's parking lot with a jack, jack stands, and some hand tools.

So, I'm really into loud music, and a friend and I were installing wood to give the air circulating in my car a smooth surface to bounce off of. I've put hundreds of screws in that car over the 10 years I've owned it, but finally, I hit something.
