GTO to Sonic...am I crazy!

I came from owning a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX to buying a Chevy Sonic Hatch last Friday, the 13th, 2012. Its my first NEW car ive ever purchased, While I miss the Subaru I don't miss the loud exhaust (droning noise) Dashboard rattle (all clips in the car rattled, hummed, buzzed, or squeaked) The 20-25mpg highway. I do however miss the get up and go. Thats about it. I turned about every nut, bolt, or screw in the Subaru. The Chevy Sonic I am leaving completely bone stock. I like the new car smell and feel. The blue tooth is new to me so its like a gift! So far almost going on a week I like this little car. GM finally made something I think everyone would enjoy owning.

Yeah, this is my first brand new car too. It actually feels alot better than buying used. i drove the new 2012 impreza, but I found the sonic to have a better interior. Their new boxer engine is good for 35MPG making it the highest full economy for any AWD vehicle. I think its to underpowered though, and I've heard the 35 is a lot harder to get out of it. So far this sonic is giving me exactly 38-40. Pretty awesome while still being peppy.

Don't the 05's have the LS1? Those are a nice ride...but they are a hard sell in this economy. Hard to say goodbye, but man I love this gas mileage!

I saw an ls1 camaro do a 10second run on a z06 at the tracks once, it was awesome haha

And you're right, its MPG is the best of any v8, even v6s of its time could barely match it
