Hail Damage!

My new RS of less than 2 weeks got hailed on last night. The hail was small, about dime to penny size. But Flash has 5 or 6 dents on his roof now. I don't see any other dents. Hood looks good. Need to examine the side and hatch a little better tomorrow.

Anyone have experience with paintless hail repair?

I had a couple of dings in the door of the Jetta I use to own, and the paint less dent removal was flawless. As long is it's not on a seam, you should have no problem having them removed. It is truly amazing what they can do!

Paintless dent removal works really well, just make sure to find a reputable guy/company. I usually hear very positive things about the process in general.

Edit. I kind of wish mine was hailed on big time, just so that it would be totaled.

the dealership which changes my wifes oil (free changes) has a guy. Hid a couple of dents for $50...

There's paintless dent guys all over...and that metal work is almost magical!

Thanks for the info. Never dealt with the paintless guys before. Last time I had hail damage, the insurance company just paid to replace the fender and hood (10 years ago).

I'll look around here for some recommendations.

Oh HAIL no! (Sorry couldn't resist) Nowadays, a lot of body shops offer PDR. Like ahtoxa said, find a reputable one. Give Flash a good wash and look and feel for more and make sure the lighting is good. The before and after are amazing.

My sonic had hail damage on the roof , hood, and doors. I had a paintless dent guy do the work and you cant even tell there was any damage. Highly recommended! !!

Had similar situation happen a couple of weeks after taking ownership. Had hundreds of little dents on roof, hood, doors, trim, etc. Took it to Dent Concepts per insurance company. They did a great job. You might try parking it in direct sun during the heat of the day and see if they pop out by themselves.
